'Bring a Friend' Night 

The Brownies had great fun entertaining their friends during the meeting.  They made 'camp doughnuts' outside and then played some games.  We welcome 3 'friends' who enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to join the Unit.

Pack Holiday 

14 - 16 October 2011

The 4 Brownie Packs in Strood Town District are planning a joint Pack Holiday at Paxwood, Wilmington.  There are 8 spaces available for 1st Strood Brownies. If you would like to book a space for your daughter, please return the form with a £10 non- returnable deposit.  Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Termly Subs

Subs for this term will be £10.00  or £25.00 if paying until the end of the summer term, please.  If paying by cheque, please make payable to:

It's official - Bambi is now the Guider in Charge of 1st Strood Brownies!  She has recently completed all her training and completed her Guiders' Qualification.

1st Strood Brownies Welcomes Charlotte

In September the Brownies welcome Charlotte Major, as a new Helper to the Unit.  We look forward to working alongside her.

Steam Train Event

In order to celebrate the Centenary, the Brownies have the opportunity to travel on a steam train to Windsor.  Once there they will be able to explore Windsor and go on a boat trip.  There will also be a 'surprise' event.

 Water Aid

Thank you for joining us for our Water Aid Evening.  We hope that you enjoyed it.  We managed to raise £51.

Brownie Uniform

You now have the facility to order Brownie Uniform through us and receive a 10% discount on the cost.  Simply complete the form, which can be found on the 'Letters' page and hand it in to one of the Guiders during the meeting. 

There are a selection of different uniform items to choose from.

 Centenary Merchandise

Your daughter will have recently brought home a catalogue of merchandise for the Centenary year of Guiding.  These items are in addition to the usual gifts and Brownie T-shirt and are optional, but there may be ideas for birthday or Christmas presents.  An order form can be downloaded from the 'Letters' page ,if you wish to purchase anything and handed in at the Brownie Meeting.
